Welcome to my web page.  My name is Tammie Solinski. This will be my 26th year as a teacher, my 15th at Little Elm. I currently teach Special Education at Oakpoint.  I have a Masters degree in Autism. I'm certified Early Child through 8th grade with an emphasis on middle school Math and Science.  I also have certifications in Special Education, Gifted and Talented and English as a Second Language, all from Early Childhood through 8th grade.  My Minor is Mathematics.  I've taught Math in grades 4 through Algebra 1, as well as 5th and 6th grade Science.  Before teaching, I was an apprentice Tin Smith in maintenance with General Motors, a Lab Tech for the Arkansas Environmental Academy, and various other jobs.

   My family, teaching, attending sporting events, gardening, and just about anything outside, are my favorite things.

    I have 4 children and 4 grandchildren so far. My family values education. My oldest oldest has her PhD and is Associate Provost of Enrollment Management for Weber State College in Ogden, Utah. My second has his Masters degree in Education. My third child has two Bachelors degrees, one in Vocal Performance, and the other Worship Arts. My youngest has an Associate degree in Economics. I believe positive relationships are the foundation of learning. I love helping students learn and I look forward to working with your family. Ms. Tammie Solinski
