Mrs. Alicia McCaffrey - Math 6

This is my 18th year in education; 8th year in LEISD.  I taught Elementary school and Middle school in Plano ISD, prior to joining Little Elm ISD in 2013.  

I have a BS in Multidisciplinary Studies with a minor in Math from Texas Tech University.  Go Red Raiders!!  I also have a MS in Computer Education & Cognitive Systems from the University of North Texas.  
 
My husband, Patrick, and I have lived in Little Elm since 2004.  We have two amazing boys, Preston, who is a 9th grader, and Garrett, who is a 4th grader.  
 
I have always loved puzzles and "figuring things out".  I love that math has so many different ways to go about solving a problem, yet there is generally only one final answer.  My goal is to help my students learn to love math, too, and feel confident in using math in their everyday life.
