This is my sixteenth year teaching and my second year teaching Investigating Careers.  I have a BA in Psychology from Texas A&M University, Gig'em Aggies, with a minor in History.  I have a Masters's degree in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix. 

I am married to Bryan who is a DBA.  My oldest daughter Maddie graduated from LEHS in 2011. My son Jared graduated from LEHS in 2017 and is working on his MBA at Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas. My baby, Mary Kate graduated from LEHS in 2022 and is a Freshman at Texas A&M.  We have lived in Little Elm for 20 years. On July 4th, 2014 I became a grandma for the first time to Jackson who is a 3rd grader at Brent Elementary.

I grew up in Plano and went to Plano East - go Panthers! I still remember my Texas History teachers from Bowman Middle School - Mrs. DePeri and Mr. Truitt. They taught me a love for History. In 4th grade, I had an amazing teacher Mrs. Betty Madigan who taught me how to build relationships and gave me a passion for learning in general. They are who I strive to be like as a teacher. My goal is to teach others to develop a passion for history and learning as well.
