Mrs. Sherri White - English

I'm a 1988 graduate of Kirbyville High School (Go Wildcats!). I graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1992 with a major in Journalism and minor in English. Before becoming a teacher I worked as a reporter and editor for a couple of weekly newspapers in Southeast Texas, winning a few awards along the way. I've been a teacher at Little Elm High School since 2012. Prior to Little Elm, I was a substitute teacher at Denton ISD, Aubrey ISD and I also taught at Kirbyville High School. I'm married, I have one son, Sam, and a cat with an attitude. My hobbies include, reading, crochet, writing, watching movies, and traveling. I have been known to be slightly obsessive about Korean dramas, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and anything British. I am absolutely passionate about reading and will always try to encourage my students to read.
