Bachelor's Degree in Business Entrepreneurship and Management Alternate Certification for Teachers- ACT Dallas

Mr. Luis Mosso, Third Grade Dual Language (Room 205)

Hello Everyone!

My name is Luis Mosso. I am a third grade dual language teacher at Oak Point Elementary. I started teaching in the year 2015 and have learned so much through teaching my students. I enjoy working with children and helping them reach their full potential through the power of education. I believe that each child should be valued and treated with respect. Education serves as a powerful tool that helps children make a positive impact in our world.

I have a beautiful family which consists of three fur babies. I have two nieces and nephews who fill my life. During my free time, I like to spend time with my family, travel, perform outdoor activities, read, and play video games.

I was born in El Salvador and came to the United States in search of better opportunities.  I received my Bachelor's degree in Business Entrepreneurship and Management at the University of North Texas in May 2011. I graduated at the top 10% of Little Elm High School, class of 2005. Prior to obtaining my teaching certification through the Alternate Certification for Teachers program in spring 2015, I worked as a substitute teacher for Little Elm ISD. Education has always been an important aspect of my life, for I believe that education opens many doors to great opportunities.

I know this will be a fun and successful year. I look forward to meeting you all!
