Kindergarten

Kindergarten Registration

The following documents are required to register your child for Kindergarten:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Social Security Card (optional)
    • If you choose not to use the Social Security Number and would like to have a State ID Number assigned, you do not need to provide a copy of the Social Security Card. Your child will be reported with the State ID Number.
  • Immunization records
  • Proof of Residency (must be a bill such as: electric, water, gas, or lease agreement)
  • Parent Driver License or other state approved photo ID

If your child is currently enrolled in LEISD Pre-K for the 2025-2026 school year, you do not need to pre-register, your child will be considered a returning student. Visit the Returning Student Registration page for more information.
