The 2026-2027 PreK enrollment process begins April 1, 2026.

Know Your Online Registration Window

New kindergarten through 12th grade students who live with the Little Elm ISD boundaries:

• January 28, 2026

New prekindergarten students (view eligibility and enrollment process):

• April 1, 2026

Little Elm ISD requires a parent or guardian to provide the following documents to complete the registration process:

• Birth Certificate
• Current Immunizations
• Social Security Card (Optional)
  • If you choose not to use the Social Security Number and would like to have a State ID Number assigned, you do not need to provide a copy of the Social Security Card. Your child will be reported with the State ID Number.
• Parent’s Driver License
• Proof of  Residency - Utility Bill, Current Rental Agreement, or Contract to build a home and move in within 120 days
• Copy of Report Card from previous school and Withdrawal Form.
• Incoming 9th grade students will need to provide their final 8th grade report card at the time of registration
• Incoming 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students will need to provide a transcript from previous school

Step 1: Gather your required documents.

Step 2: The online enrollment form link will be on this registration page beginning January 28, 2026. Please refer to your registration date above before starting the Online Registration form. Each student must be registered individually.

Step 3: Visit https://littleelm.focusschoolsoftware.com/focus/ and create a Parent Portal account and add students to your account. If you need help creating your account, follow these instructions.

Step 4: When you have finished adding students you will visit the Parent Portal to complete the registration process. 

You will receive a confirmation email once you have completed the online registration form and uploaded the required documents. However, enrollment is only complete once the documentation is reviewed and processed by District staff.

All submitted information and documents will be reviewed. Little Elm ISD will process new student registration in the order in which submissions were received. Once the student's registration is processed and approved, the parent/guardian will receive an email with student information. 

Secondary counselors will contact middle and high school parents to facilitate the course selection process based on transcripts or report cards from the student's previous school.

• New middle school students are asked to review and complete the course planning document for the appropriate grade level to assist in this process
• High school students and parents are encouraged to review the LEHS Course Guide to see all the course offerings available before meeting with the counselor.

Little Elm ISD offers traditional Pre-K, and Bilingual Pre-K Programs.
