This summer, the Texas Space Grant Consortium will be offering a 3-day Earth Science workshop for Middle School Teachers. Our goal is to provide teachers with activities and lesson plans that will help guide their students to a deeper understanding of some important Earth Science related concepts.

To that end, we would like to target those areas with which students have struggled. We would value your input regarding which TEKS and standards the students in your Region have not demonstrated mastery of at their grade level.

The teachers who attend the 3-day workshop will be receiving a stipend and 24 hours of continuing education credit. The workshop is tentatively scheduled for June 13-15 in Austin, Texas. We will send out specific information about this opportunity after the Holidays.
