Multiple Ways to Reach Out to Little Elm ISD

December 15, 2021

At Little Elm ISD we want to provide multiple avenues for students, faculty, and staff to communicate with the District. Over the years technology has made it easier to provide additional avenues of communication – including the ability to anonymously alert us to serious issues that require our attention.

The District has implemented a number of communication tools for those who have a concern, thought or suggestion, or wish to report bullying or other serious problems. They are listed on the District website on our Communication Dashboard.

Anonymous Alerts

One of the unique apps we have had since 2016 is Anonymous Alerts®, which as the name suggests allows individuals to provide information to the District without revealing their identity. This app is designed to encourage students, parents, and staff to quickly, easily, and anonymously report bullying, cyber-bullying, gang-related issues, and other sensitive topics through private messages to school officials. The app is provided by an outside vendor and allows a person to remain anonymous even during a two-way email conversation.

The Anonymous Alerts® app is free to download from the Apple Store, Google Play store, and the Chrome store.  Alerts can also be made from a desktop computer by visiting the webpage we created on the District website for anonymous reporting.

Lobos Listen

Lobos Listen is a web-based program that allows you to contact the district online to share ideas or concerns. The process is easy to use and available to anyone who has Internet access. Submissions are reviewed by the communications team and shared with department and campus leaders. This typically can be a two-way communication tool if the person submitting the thought would like to be contacted.

Communication and Information

Our website also provides a long list of ways you can stay informed on district activities and resources. Take a moment to see all the different tools, apps, and resources that will help you with tracking your child's bus, looking up daily lunch and breakfast menus, managing your child's lunch account funds, and so much more.

All of this technology is in addition to the ongoing day-to-day contact we have with students, faculty, and staff. Our School Resource Officers are also available on campus to discuss or take action when appropriate.

We are here for you, want to hear from you, and want to make that communication process fit your needs.
