A Holiday Message from the Superintendent

District Holiday Card with Student Artwork

Dear Lobo FamiLE;
The Christmas season is one of my favorite times of the year. As a child, I enjoyed my family traditions of decorating our tree, enjoying my mother’s Christmas cookies, and spending time with family. Traditions with our loved ones can leave lasting memories for our children to pass on to the next generation. We hold on to traditions because they add meaning to our celebrations, and help bond us to those we love.
As I reflect on those times, I can’t help but make the connection to where we are today. We as parents and educators, have this labor of love - to work as hard as we can, for however long it will take - for that one moment we see our children smile and enjoy something we’ve created for them.
I am most proud of the work our teachers and staff are doing to improve the District. Together, as we work toward one common goal, we will make a huge difference in our students’ lives. We are maintaining our tradition at Little Elm ISD  as we continue to work toward creating a community where every students loves to learn, every teacher loves to teach, and every person is proud to call home.
Whatever traditions your family has planned this winter break, my hope is that you create new and lasting memories together. It is nice to have this time together to remember what we have and cherish those in our lives. We are looking forward to seeing all of your smiling faces next month and we are excited for what the spring semester will bring.
Enjoy the holiday break with family and friends!

Warmest wishes,
