Little Elm ISD Superintendent Gives Triple E Award to Bill Bush

December 19, 2019

Bill Bush Receives Triple E Award

One of the biggest honors a Lobo FamiLE member can receive is the Little Elm ISD Triple E Award from the Superintendent. This employee recognition tradition began in 2016 as a way to recognize amazing individuals who go beyond their job description to have a tremendous impact on students, teachers, and staff members district-wide. Superintendent Daniel Gallagher presented Bill Bush, Zellars Alternative Campus principal, with this honor at Monday evening's school board meeting. The Triple E represents the three main components of our Little Elm ISD mission, to Engage, Equip, and Empower.

"This award has only been given to a handful of people. It’s not given out very often,” said Gallagher. “But when people are making a significant impact on students, who come to work every day with a passion to make a change, they need to be recognized.”

Bush has been leading the AIMS/GOALS/DAEP alternative campus for nearly seven years. He helps students through accelerated and focused education as an opportunity to regain credit and graduate with their class. “Mr. Bush is the most dedicated and passionate educator I have ever worked with. I am proud to present the Triple E Award to Mr. Bush,” said Gallagher.
