Lobo Honors Awards Recipients Announced

February 28, 2020

Earlier this year, the Little Elm ISD Education Foundation asked students across the District to submit a letter nominating their favorite teacher or staff member. The letter had to explain why their nominee is special and how they Engage, Equip, and Empower them to reach their full potential.

In February, the foundation executive board members spent a day reading letters submitted by students. They narrowed it down to ten letters by using a grading rubric. Friday, February 28, during the school day, foundation board members visited the student authors at their campuses. Together, they surprised the recipients for a heart-warming celebration.

Students, parents, and honored teachers will all be celebrated at the Boots and Bling Gala, the LEISDEF's fundraising dinner. The event is Friday, March 27 from 6:30-10:00 p.m. at The Tribute Golf Club. All the money raised from this event will go toward innovative teacher grants.
