Facility Naming

PROCEDURES FOR NAMING LEISD FACILITIES

Little Elm ISD has outlined the facility naming procedures through its Board Policy. This policy allow the District to accept naming submission year round for any facility. Any member of the public can propose a name for the District and Board of Trustees to consider for its facilities.

A District facility can include – but is not limited to – a building, school, other structure or part of a building or complex including the grounds, the library, the auditorium, or athletic fields. The District facility can be new, existing, or proposed. Little Elm ISD has multiple new facilities planned and community members can submit proposed names for a specific project or for any project.

All proposed names will be submitted to the Superintendent, who will then make a recommendation to the Board of Trustees.

To submit a name for consideration on a new or existing Little Elm ISD facility, use the name submission online form.

Names can also be submitted in writing by printing  the name submission form, filling it out, and mailing it to the Superintendent:
