Bond 2022 Board Approvals

August 15, 2022 - Board calls for a $289.5 million bond election to be held on November 8, 2022.

November 22, 2022 - Board canvassed bond election returns and declared results.  Bond passed.

November 28, 2022 - Board approved CMAR construction delivery method and gave authorization to issue RFQ's for both CM and JOC contracts.

January 23, 2023 - Board approved RFQ results for Architectural Firms and Third Party Consultants for use in the 2022 bond projects.

April 17, 2023 - Board approved the recommendations for RFQ #2023-002 (CMAR) and RFP #2023-003 (JOC).

January 23, 2023 - Board approved $181.6 million bond issuance.

October 16, 2023 - Board approved the sale of 0.3 acres on High Ridge Drive located on the future elementary site in Lakewood Village.

Technology Upgrades
March 27, 2023 - Board approved Technology Upgrades at Brent and Chavez Elementary Schools.

Interior/Exterior Upgrades
April 17, 2023 - Board approved the Parking Lot Light Pole Replacement project at Hackberry Elementary School.
October 16, 2023 - Board approved Interior Upgrades at Brent and Chavez Elementary Schools.

Safety and Security
April 17, 2023 - Board approved the Security Film Project to install film at every district campus.
April 17, 2023 - Board approved the Concealed Weapons Detection systems for every district campus.
December 18, 2023 - Board approved Access Control & Security Upgrades for all campuses.

Lakewood Village Elementary School
May 15, 2023 -  Board approved the Architect selection for elementary school #7 in Lakewood Village (Corgan). 
May 15, 2023 -  Board approved the funding for a topographic survey for the future school site.
November 27, 2023 - Board approved an easement for AT&T on the future school site.
December 18, 2023 - Board approved an electric easement for Coserv on the future school site.
December 18, 2023 - Board approved a utility/drainage easement and a temporary grading easement on the future school site.
January 22, 2024 - Board approved naming the school Lakewood Village Elementary School.
February 26, 2024 - Board approved the GMP for the Early Site Construction Package #1.
April 15, 2024 - Board approved the GMP for the Lakewood Village Construction Package #2.

Little Elm HS Classroom Expansion
May 15, 2023 - Board approved the Architect selection for the Little Elm HS Classroom expansion (PBK).
July 24, 2023- Board approved to upgrade the use and access to the LEHS Bistro.
January 22, 2024 - Board approved the revised Phase 1 Scope of Work for LEHS Additions.
January 22, 2024 - Board approved the Geotechnical Exploration for Phase 1 of LEHS Additions.
March 25, 2024 - Board approved a Consulting Services Contract for a new District Data Center, located at LEHS.

Walker/Strike Middle School Orchestra Additions
May 15, 2023 - Board approved the Architect selection for the middle school orchestra additions (Huckabee).
