GT Appeal Process

In Little Elm ISD, we partner with parents, families, and educators to identify and serve each child who’s educational needs qualify her/him for Gifted and Talented services. Not all children who are assessed for Gifted & Talented services will qualify. While the GT Committee follows well established guidelines and procedures, parents and families have the right to appeal the decision.

GT Appeals must be made within 10 days of receiving notification that your student did not qualify for the GT program.

 

The appeal form will be made available on this page for 10 days from:

December 13-22, 2025 for 1st -11th Grades and

February 21-March 2, 2026 for Kinder
