Indentifying GT Students
Little Elm ISD serves students identified as gifted and talented in the following manner:
Grades K-5
Students in kindergarten through fifth grade are served through Little Elm's GT Program once they have been identified. The students are served in this pull-out program taught by the campus LEISD GT Specialist. The GT class focuses on critical and creative thinking skills and is project based, utilizing the Texas Performance Standards Projects.
*Kindergarten students are identified during the spring semester and begin receiving gifted services by March 1st of their kindergarten year.

Grades 6-12
Students in sixth to eighth grades are served through the LEISD Honors and advanced classes. High school students are served through Honors and AP classes as well as advanced CTE and dual enrollment options.
