Parent Access to Library Materials

Library Book Preferences

Little Elm ISD is committed to partnering with families to support student learning and access to information. In support of Senate Bill 13, parents and guardians now have the option to create a customized list of books they do not want their child to check out from the school library.

By logging into the district's library catalog, families can select specific titles and assign them to their child’s individual prohibited book list. Once added, these titles will not be available for that student to borrow from the campus library.

This feature offers families a personalized and transparent way to stay involved in their child’s reading choices while ensuring all students maintain access to a wide range of library materials.
