Grade Acceleration

Grade Acceleration is designed for a small percentage of students who are advanced socially and academically. Grade Acceleration requires students to demonstrate 80% mastery on topics in which no prior instruction has been given. Placement in a new grade or year-long course will only occur at the start of a school year (or semester at High School due to the accelerated block).  The exam for acceleration will be the content and objectives one grade level above that of which the student is currently enrolled.
