How to Request Documents

This document is used to record your years of service within the school district and days used and accumulated under the state’s current personal leave program.

How to request:

2. Fill out your personal information in the form
3. Check the service record box

• Substitutes: check the box for substitute service records, please provide years served

** Beginning with the 1998-99 school year, a substitute teacher may receive credit for years of substitute teaching experience for salary increment purposes provided that the teacher held a valid teaching certificate at the time the service was rendered, and the teacher was employed in an entity recognized for creditable years of service and the minimum days employed were met.

4. If you need service records on file from previous districts, please indicate in the Notes box
5. Choose Delivery method

• Enter email address or mailing address in the box
• Be mindful that a Texas school district can only accept a digital copy of a service record if it comes DIRECTLY from the school district

6. Submit

Employment verification services for Little Elm ISD are handled by the Payroll Office. Requests can be submitted via fax or e-mail.

Any other document that is located within the employee personnel file can be requested.  This includes but is not limited to college transcripts, resumes, professional development, etc.
