Social Work Program

Social workers help to enhance our communities overall well being by meeting basic needs, providing creative mental health support interventions, and partnering with behavior staff for improvement of student success. LEISD Social Workers are integral in helping families and student overcome barriers with attendance by helping bridge the gap between home and school life. Through advocacy and diverse approaches, social workers aim to improve the school envrionment for all stakeholders by meeting them where they are at.
