Little Elm ISD is pleased to announce Bernadette White as Oak Point Elementary Principal. White has been serving as the Assistant Principal for Oak Point Elementary since 2022.

Before joining Little Elm ISD, White was part of the campus administration team at two different elementary schools in Denton ISD. She also brings a wealth of experience from her roles as a reading interventionist, instructional coach, English as a Second Language teacher, and Bilingual PreK teacher assistant in districts including Katy ISD, Round Rock ISD, and San Antonio ISD.

Superintendent Mike Lamb expressed confidence in White’s leadership, highlighting the continuity and familiarity she brings to the role. “Any time you make a change in leadership, there is always uncertainty of how well the new person will fit in. But in this scenario, Ms. White already understands the culture at Oak Point Elementary, and her staff and students know her and respect her. I have confidence she will continue to support the great things happening at her campus,” said Lamb.

White will assume the role of Principal for the 2024-2025 school year.
