A highlight from the 2024–2025 school year shows remarkable growth and achievement in Little Elm High School’s advanced academic programs, providing students with more opportunities than ever to prepare for college, careers, and life beyond high school.

Advanced Placement (AP) Success
The District offers 26 AP subject tests, giving students the chance to earn college credit by scoring a 3 or higher. In 2025, 515 students took 787 AP exams, surpassing last year’s 782 exams. Impressively, 56% of AP students scored a 3 or higher, the highest percentage yet—34 more students reached college-ready scores compared to 2024.

College Readiness
LEHS students continue to excel on national exams:

  • ACT: Composite score of 19.6, with the highest score reaching 25

  • SAT: Cumulative score of 942, up 12 points in two years; 164 students scored above 1050, exceeding the national average

  • PSAT: 1,130 students participated, with all testing costs covered by LEHS

Preparing for Life Beyond High School

  • College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) Score: Increased from 70 in 2024 to 85 in 2025

  • Graduation Rate: 96.3%

These results reflect the dedication of both students and staff and demonstrate why families continue to choose Little Elm ISD. Through strong academic programs and opportunities for growth, LEHS prepares students to achieve their highest potential.

Little Elm ISD Earns FIRST A-Superior Rating for the 22nd Consecutive Year

Little Elm ISD is in the top 80% of districts who earned an A-Superior rating from the Texas Education Agency’s Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST). This award highlights how well the District manages financial resources to maximize instructional funding. Little Elm ISD has now achieved this rating an impressive 22 times.
